Witch hazel tincture

Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) was used by Native Americans. They used the leaves and bark as a poultice and tea to reduce inflammation and fever. Today witch hazel is widly used in cosmetics, lotions, and in first aid. 

The extract of witch hazel may bring some relief from hemorrhoids, skin irrations and lesson minor bleeding. Taking it orally may help allievate diarrhea, dysentery, coughing or vomiting blood. 

 

Those who are children should not take internally or orally. Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take witch hazel tincture orally
